Artist Comment
I was compelled to paint the fruitful nature of this bloom's posture and countenance. All of those seeds dependent on the next gust of wind for their disbursement - protected meanwhile by the generous curves of the magnolia petals (a sanctuary amidst the violence and vagaries of nature).
