Monarch was painted in response to Jonathan Yeo's recent 'Butteryfly Portrait' of King Charles. The original painting by Karlalise is 102cm x 102cm, framed in black radiata. It was exhibited at the WAITAKERE ART AWARDS 2024. It has since been professionally photographed for reproduction and archival purposes.
Karlalise has released ten archival quality fine art prints of MONARCH, which will be printed with:
- Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm 100% cotton tectured matte paper;
- Giclee ink; and
- Rolled in a protective sheath for transport to the framer of your choice.

These prints will be in the following format:
- Size A2+ (594mm (w) x 594mm (h));
- Signed and dated by the artist; and
- Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
These are the only prints Karlalise will release of MONARCH in this format.
